A little bit of soccer, pain and friendship

Some pictures from our impromptu soccer tournament at our house last weekend. We had a great time playing this countries favourite past time but left with a few aches and pain. We are not all as active and as young as we used to be, well we have to have some excuse right.
Let's just say that there was some surprise winners. Here's to building community and friendships.

Kind of like spontaneous Ultimate games? Hmmm, maybe I should send you a disc...

Those are some hard questions you asked in your last post around giving. It's interesting how quick we are to place limits and boundaries on how much we give, whether it's money, time, gifts, etc. There is almost something instinctively selfish (and broken?) in us that wants to pull back for ourselves. Maybe the question is not how much, but how willing are we to listen to the Spirit's prompting, no matter what? So we have all of this stuff and we make it available for God no matter what. Nothing is off limits.

Love you guys and praying for you!

I think you are right Joel. This is definitely tough when there is so much need. I also think the challenge is...do we listen to the Holy Spirit? This can also be used as a justification to not give i.e "The holy spirit hasn't asked me do give." Here's to the struggle of following Jesus.
