Remembering my Dad

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of my Dad's passing. It was good to grieve as a family and remember the legacy Dad left us. A legacy of courage and compassion. A life lived well.
The picture above is such a gift to me, Dad connecting with Keira, full of joy and life. I miss him.

I know how hard anniversaries are. Do you see glimpses of your dad in Keira? I totally see flashes of my dad in Tyler, and it warms be to the core. I love the legacy that Tyler brings as he honors the grandpa he never met with just a sparkle in his eye or crinkle in his smile. I hope that you experience that connection often with your children and other nieces/nephews. Miss you guys!

This is a lovely shot!! Your Mum is also in it? What a treasure for you, Trevor, and what a legacy.
